About Me

I've been working professionally as a programmer in the video game industry since 2015. I started with freelance work on Kickstarter projects like the RPG "Terrain of Magical Expertise", then landed some work at WayForward and got to work on titles such as "Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp", "River City Girls 2", and "Contra: Operation Galuga". I've worked primarily with C# in the Unity3D engine, but also have a bit of experience in C++ and Unreal, and a Bachelor's degree in Game Design from Columbia College Chicago.

I'll tackle any job that needs doing for a project to succeed and pride myself on my flexibility. I've done a good deal of work on UI and menus, implementing achievements, a bit of enemy AI code, a dash of in game cinematics and designer tool creation, certification prep for releases on Sony consoles, general gameplay programming and, of course, a great deal of bug squashing.
Having done much of my work in smaller, scrappier teams, I've also worked directly with artists, designers, and audio team members to ensure our projects are as polished as can be, and have even filled design roles myself in addition to my programming work on smaller projects.

That should be enough for now. If you want to know more, have a look at my resumé. I look forward to hearing from you and hope we can work on something together!
