Nathan Lindley: Game Developer
CitrusMancer
CitrusMancer is a game I developed in one month for the 2014 Indie Game Maker Contest. A friend of mine pitched an idea to me about a fruit mage on a quest to craft the ultimate orange. I loved the idea instantly and together we made a team from our various friends and contacts.
The biggest challenge of this project, more so than the tight deadline, was the lack of experience on the team. I was the only one on board who'd actually worked on games before, and much of the organization, design work, and all of the programming fell on my shoulders. In the end, I'd say our ragtag group did a spectacular job! Not only did we finish our game on time, we also finished in the top 20% of the popular vote, with over 680 total entries in the contest!
