Contra: Operation Galuga

The third project I worked on at WayForward. On Contra: Operation Galuga, I primarily worked on the game's cutscenes. I added functionality to Unity's Timeline system to feed stage directions to the game's characters, display UI elements mid-cutscene, and play pre-rendered videos with alternate versions for the game's current language settings. I worked closely with audio and vfx team members to ensure music, sfx, and vfx displayed properly, and I also expanded functionality for AI controlled characters, allowing them to fight alongside the player outside of cutscenes during specific sequences in story mode.

Contra: Operation Galuga is available now for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch, and XBox One and Series X/S. You can learn more on the game's official page here
